Owl Creek Landing

Fun time for the family. We went down the slide a few times, and the observation deck was nice. The tree walk was a breeze for older kids, though I’m not sure how manageable it would be for younger children. The swing area was enjoyable, and the staff was exceptionally friendly. We probably won’t be visiting again, but I’m glad we checked it out. In my opinion, the price should be closer to $8–$10 per person.

There’s so many great parks in the area. This one is overpriced for what it is. The tower doesn’t go above the trees so you can’t see anything when you get up there. The price on their website is the price for kids so expect to spend more unexpectedly. Giving it 2 stars because the slide is probably fun for kids but other than that I was feeling like I wasted my money. To do the tower, the “tree” path or whatever, and the ground path took us about 30 minutes in total. It cost us $56 for two adults. Definitely not worth it. The tickets shouldn’t even be a thing for this place but honestly if they’re going to do it, it shouldn’t be more than $5 for what it is. Was invited and went with son and grandson, who loved the slide and went down the slide several times. The slide was fun, I will agree with other posters the price is a bit steep.

Loved the setting and the structures, def fun and more time consuming for smaller kiddos, my bigger kids (9&12) breezed through pretty quickly (about an hour), the slide is a little intimidating so my kids didn’t try it 🐔 😂 but fun for those brave enough I’m sure, we loved walking through the wooden walkways in the trees, the swing was a huge hit, need a few more of them for shorter lines! I honestly would not pay $30+ per person per visit, so I came on the free community day. I think $10-$15 would be more feasible, but I know costs have to be covered. The staff was super helpful and informative, not sure why the bad reviews on the staff, they were very friendly. Thank you for the opportunity to check it out!

We were really excited to visit Owl Creek Landing, especially for the tower slide, which was the main draw for our family. Unfortunately, we did not clearly see the age (7+) and height (4.5 ft+) restrictions on the website when purchasing tickets. We only learned about them in the email confirmation after purchase. This was frustrating, as we had planned to take our 4-year-old down the slide with us, only to find out after paying full price that she couldn’t enjoy the park’s signature feature. At the very least, a lower admission price for younger children who can’t use the slide and a clearer warning before checkout would help families avoid disappointment.
