Painting Hangout

Had a great private event here for my birthday. We had booked a private event for about 20 people, and loved that we were able to bring our own drinks and snacks (we preferred that over having to buy from a bar within a painting studio as some places do). Our instructor was great, he ended up learning the vibe of our group, and was joking around with us throughout. He was very talented and happy to help anyone. The manager Rafael was also there and helped out too. He was also very responsive in the weeks leading up to the class. They also let us leave our paintings and pick them up the next day which was convenient. Recommend for a fun group outing or birthday celebration!

Raf was patient and respectful the entire time and was thorough with his instructions. I would definitely come back for another session.

I had the absolute best time at Painting Hangout! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and so much fun. The studio was beautifully decorated, with plenty of space for everyone to feel comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience—they were friendly, attentive, and incredibly patient with everyone, regardless of skill level. The instructor was fantastic! Justin broke down each step in an easy-to-follow way, making even the least artistic among us feel confident. It was such a relaxed and encouraging environment, and we all had a blast experimenting with the paints and techniques. I left with a painting and great memory I was genuinely proud of (and I’m no artist!).

Absolutely recommend Painting Hangout as your next friend group activity! You get to select the image you wish to paint, put your playlist on and have a painting party. Sam, our instructor was personable, clear with his instruction and helpful when we needed help with our image. So so happy with how they turned out. Sam even did magic tricks while each layer of paint dried and ensured the best time was had. Do not pass this up when choosing your next night out!

Was way better than expected! The instructor was so kind, so funny, and just really made us feel special. He gifted my boyfriend a painting for his birthday and even gave us a personal magic show. I can not express how much of a great experience this was at painting hangout. We will absolutely be back. This place is cozy, byob, they offered us a speaker for our own music playing, and we could just hang out. Please do not skip out on this place!
