Hired Brian Soppa of Painting Perspectives gave a requested deposit of $1660;cashed May 19, 2018. To start in 2 weeks. June 5 power washed for approx 2 hours; said he would be back to wash shed he missed; never showed or called. Talked with him on Thursday 6/7/18 about missed areas said he would be at our home on Friday, 6/8; never showed or called. Saturday we called and fired him. Asked for deposit and said he could keep $300 for power washing. He said 'no' he didn't have the money. He dropped off 2 5 gallon buckets of Hallman Lindsay paint even though he said he was using Sherwin Williams. We now deduct $300 for power washing (very generous as he is not worth $150/hr) and $478 for paint even though it is not what he said he was using. He owes us $882 for the balance of our deposit.
