The best thing about this company is the people. They are unreasonably expensive, and they have clauses to hold on to your down payment- for us it was to the beat of approximately 16K, and the plans/ renditions was maybe around 2k. They will not provide itemized prices, and the plans are not solid. I ended up getting an architect who was working part time for the Home Depot and she told me that the plans were completely unrealistic/ unusable after vetting- get this, her plans were for free. In addition, I got an itemized purchase list and she took care of. ‘All the things’ I would have to pay for with palmetto LOL … I went with the Improvement Company for installation. Kimberly did a great job explaining the process of designing our new bathroom. Very thorough and detailed! Edit- I was asked to leave a review during my consultation while she was still present, which I found really strange. I hadn’t hired them or seen any work done yet but felt pressured to post something right then. This feedback reflects my experience with the consultation only, not with any completed project.

Unlike other contractors I attempted to work with first, Palmetto has been responsive, timely, and knowledgeable about the extensive repairs my house needs. They have been honest, transparent, and extremely communicative. Just as importantly, they have been my fiercest advocates during a frustrating insurance process. They have gone above and beyond and I cannot recommend them enough.

I recently had a deck replacement completed and they did a very good job and I’m happy with the finished deck. The only reason for not having 5 stars was due to a lack of communication and the fact they did not pick up their lunch trash. I would definitely use them on future projects.

****Update #2 go on ahead and threaten to sue me. Given how long y’all take to complete a renovation you don’t have the time to do it. Not to mention the bad press you’d get from attacking someone that shared their family’s experience in a google review. Nothing I said was a lie, so it doesn’t actually constitute liable. You might be able to find a lawyer that is as unscrupulous as y’all are to represent y’all, but just like y’all….it’ll only be to collect money from a job they didn’t do very well. My reviews are honest and I give praise when it’s due….y’all just aren’t a praise worthy business and judging by the reviews that other actual customers put up (not your employees) our family isn’t alone in how you’ve behaved and completed work.
