He designed the project (with all our specifications and requirements) just as we conceived it. We wanted an independent living area attached to our ranch house, which was built in 1965. People have commented that the completed addition looks like our original house, rather than looking like an addition. This was important to him in his design process. We also expanded our existing primary bedroom and renovated a bathroom.
