These people are feral and unprofessional to the core! Got a 30$ ticket for 5 min parking at the hardware store on 2nd St. in 15 min limit parking and just because my car was partially in no parking area or just past the pole that sign was posted. I went in with 30$ worth of dimes (loose in plastic bag) that I just picked up from the bank. I tried to negotiate and reason with them, but she told me that I had to pay (with slight nastiness/attitude). I tried to place dimes on the counter ever so gently so it wouldn't run off in every direction, to which she put her hands on the bag and that small pile of dimes and yelled you can't do that and to which I responded that I can and it's a legal tender! She yelled for her supervisor to come over and continued to press down on that pile of dimes a

I got a parking ticket on a thursday evening which i wanted to pay in person LIKE THE BACK OF THE TICKET SAID I COULD. I called on friday with no answer, visited the office but it was locked. gave me until monday to pay the fine before it increased to $50. MONDAY WAS A HOLIDAY SO THEY WERE CLOSED AGAIN. I had to pay the ticket online which charged an additional $4. JUST ROB US ALREADY. Even NY doesn’t charge $4.35 for one hour parking. I can’t even say it was the worst customer service experience BECAUSE THERE WAS NO SERVING DONE TO THE CUSTOMER.

If anyone has been paying attention, people have not been spending money when going downtown or anywhere in Harrisburg, where you have to pay for parking.People have come out to parking tickets after parking tickets which amount to court hearings, fine Sometimes, they will come out to their car removed becuase of city towing companies. there is hardly any free parking which this attracts tourists and local consumers. This seems consumers have chosen alternative stores where free parking is available to spend in local and corporate businesses. Parking prices need to be reduced in order for revenue at the stores and these businesses to increase.

Don’t understand the new high tech parking situation. There was no sign in front of my car. The dispute was denied because like 4 cars down there was a pay sign and somewhere there was a kiosk? Then because I didn’t pay right away it was another $20! Freakin ridiculous! $50 because I didn’t understand this new parking shenanigans. Will not be going to harrisburg or any town if this is the case. Stay home and save money. Merica 😒

They give tickets for parking near anywhere near hydrants which are located next to parking kiosks, with lined parking spaces, and not yellow curb. Its a damn $50 trap. Thank you Park Harrisburg. Then they placed the ticket on the corner of the passenger windshield that was not visible as the driver, so I got an additional $20 fee. Shame on you. Glad I traveled to our State capital that has practically no visitor parking…state employees parking only signs everywhere. 😡
