Park Michigan Garage

Beware if you are parking a vehicle larger than a postage stamp, because this garage is tight! Plenty of 3 point turns were required just to maneuver my car through the garage. The overall sizes of the parking spots is also an issue. Had to tell all my passengers to get out of the car before getting into a space, otherwise they wouldn't be able to get out at all. If you are using SpotHero or ParkWhiz at this garage, it helps to make sure the page on your phone is already open as you approach the gates; this garage does block some cell reception and it may affect your ability to leave. The overall cost of parking is obviously the reward here; if your car is small you'll have less problems than I did. I would not recommend this garage for folks with big cars or if you aren't 100% confident

there is no option to extend a booking on parkwhiz. my late fee was $14 on top of a $6 3-hour reservation for exiting 15min late.

Took my minivan to park. Good parking garage with reasonable rates. Some spaces are bit tight as well be careful with turns but overall good parking garage.

Parked here from 10:56am-6:00pm. We were expecting to pay 20 bucks based on the advertised price. When checking out the ticket charge was 70 dollars!!! The attendant on the speaker said it's because of special event rates, but that wasn't posted anywhere. We went back and parked, checked for signage, didn't find any special event parking prices and got back on with support. The manager was not aware of any special event pricing, so they gave us the 20 dollar rate after about 15 minutes of raising an issue on the speaker.

Reserved a space through SpotHero, and good thing we did since it said the place was full when we arrived. The garage is very close to Museum Campus, only about a 10 minute walk (longer if you have kids) and you enter/exit through the apartment doors. Its also very cheap compared to museum parking: $8 for four hours here and $20 for four hours at the museum. Just note that the garage is a bit narrow and low (clearance is 6 ft). Also, the gate bars seem to have been snapped off so it seems like there's no bars.
