Deep Dive: I have been battling with my Lox home's water system for over 20 years, and I am convinced that Loxahatchee is right on top of a dinosaur urinal. Tannins, sulfer, iron, salt, and many other subterranean crap all make Lox a difficult place to have a well. N. Florida, where I'm from, has such clear water that you don't need filtration. But here in the swamp, it's a life necessity. My well was pulling really bad stuff up and I needed a new one. Acreage Water Supply & Service recommended Parker Well Drilling, saying that they are honest and good. After a short call, owner Mark's guys were soon drilling.
