Parkway Parking - Walnut Street Theater (805 Walnut)

Arrived at 4pm. Discovered a dead car at 10:30pm. They left our electric vehicle on, and all the charge was gone. They gave ZERO cares. My wife, two young daughters, and mother-in-law.... Stranded in Philly late at night after a show at Walnut Street Theater. They took no ownership, would not allow them to charge the vehicle, and when the dudes shift was over, he peaced out. I had to pick them up, use AAA to tow the vehicle home. And since no parking attendant was there for when AAA arrived, it was another 20 minutes to get a person on the phone to open the gate remotely. Honestly, this place renewed my lack of faith in humanity.

Used this lot for an unexpected Wills Eye Emergency Room visit on a Saturday night we were in a hurry not sure where to park this was the first lot we saw. Told where to park by an attendant and upon returning found we were blocked in by another vehicle, but it didn't take long for an attendant to move it so we could leave. The attendants were helpful and courteous. $43 for five hours (yikes!) it was very tight parking but convenient to Wills Eye Emergency it's an easy walk. I was worried about my vehicle the whole time while in the emergency room but thankfully no damages.

I've seen monkey-poo fights at the zoo that were more organized than this place. Three guys running around with no organization and getting very little accomplished. Having to wait a long time for the attendant to move a vehicle so I can pull mine out was aggravating enough, but paying $39 for 2.5 hours made it even worse. Do yourself a favor - find a parking garage and take the extra walk. You'll save yourself a lot of aggravation and may even save a few bucks.

Parking itself was fine, but when we returned to our car we got screamed at by the attendant for not leaving our keys behind and causing “big issues.” There is no signage stating that if you park in a front slot you have to leave your keys, so we didn’t know. So if you plan to park here, make sure you park in a back slot or give them your keys beforehand, otherwise you will be yelled at when you return.

I WAS TOLD to get discount parking as Will eye hospital patient family. The parking policy is not clearly disclosed on the website. I was charge $ 16 dollar at only 45 Minutes, no discount, no flat rate as well. Please don't park here if you get eye service. I felt uncomfortable after I had parking service at down town eye hospital. The customer service handed up my phone when i asked she to explain to me why the ad was hide inside the building and fee rate is to high. Beside that, no discount from will eye hospital.
