Spike and his crew are exactly what you want in a landscape architect team: creative, articulate, knowledgeable, down-to-earth, thoughtful, tidy, and very quick! 3 years ago we hired them to tear out our backyard and create a beautiful outdoor garden oasis. Spike is such an expert in his field. After reviewing my inspiration photos for the backyard, he gave great suggestions on which flowers to plant that would thrive in our space. He also made sure to add lots of perennials, bulbs, climbers, shrubs, and he installed a proper irrigation system to keep our garden looking fresh every year. Spike and his team also planted a gorgeous arrangement in our planter box in the front of our house. About 2 -3 times a year Spike comes over to check on the garden and do any necessary maintenance.

Spike built a new fence for us in 2019 and it was absolutely perfect. We worked together on the design and it came out exactly as we had hoped. The price was great and the quality was top-notch. Even though we weren’t yet able to redo our landscaping, the fence made it feel like a whole new yard. He was also a truly nice guy who went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied and it was wonderful to be able to support a local business.

Spike and his crew have done a few things for me over the years. He's terrific to deal with and his crew professional and on time. I've been super happy with his work and would not hesitate to hire him again. Last thing - he knows his plants and what works best in our urban environment.

We did a major backyard overhaul last spring/summer with Spike and Passionate Produce, complete with a new wood fence that included a cantilevered pergola as well as a meandering stone path and lots of new plantings. Spike designed it and selected plants based on what I was thinking about, but adding his expertise. He was great to collaborate with, and he and his team were a pleasure to work with.
