I do not recommend this company at all. At first Jim patiently spend time to explain the potential issue to gain my trust and confident. However his performance later destroyed it all. This job was to be done for a non-profit facility with limited budget. He first purchased wrong part, that delayed the repair. Then I found he charged twice for the part he bought. This took 2 weeks. He was always late and not respectful of the customer’s time. After replacing the part, the freezer still didn’t work and it took another 2 weeks for him to say it is a bigger problem and is going to cost a lot more. I had a problem with my walk-in freezer. I have called two companies and paid lots of money and no one was able to fix it. Yesterday I called Patriot Mechanical Services, and after briefly describing the issue, they said they will have someone contact me right away. Within 30 minutes the owner himself called me and discussed the issue and understood the exact problem. One hour later a technician came to the restaurant, with a professional attitude and attire. He started searching for the problem right away, and when he explained the issue he knew what he was talking about and he wasn’t guessing like other companies. I called the service for Viet Citron restaurant in Burlington. Jim called me back at noon on the same day and said he could send someone around 2pm. Scott showed up at 1:30pm, super nice guy and very thorough in checking and explaining to us why it's having issues. He even tought me and my staff how to properly clean and maintain my ice machine so we don't have to call them back in the future. Best equipment service ever and much appreciated for the advices. Money well spent and I will call them for future refrigeration services. Thank you guys!

I had come to this company on a request that they help me refill my refrigerant and also also check out my thermostat. When he and his younger assistant first came, he had brought the wrong refrigerant so then he had to come back the next day, therefore delaying the process. He came back the next day with a younger assistant with the correct refrigerant, and while they were present, only one of them was working, and the assistant was at a standstill, just watching his boss. After about 15 minutes of labor, the bill came. I was charged for the travel time which included the day before where he had made a mistake and brought the wrong refrigerant, so I was basically charged for his own mistake, which should've been left out of the bill.
