I had a great experience with the mitigation and restoration team. Essence’s customer service was excellent—her initial call was professional, informative, and clearly explained the process and next steps to get restoration started. Rick, the Project Manager, was also professional and thorough; he answered all my questions and let me know that Clint and David would be my mitigators, assuring me I could call him anytime if I needed anything. Clint and David were always professional, respectful, and polite. They explained each day’s tasks in a way that was easy for me to understand and were very informative whenever I had questions. Tatum came to my home as a representative of Paul Davis restoration to remediate water damage that occurred after a line in my upstairs bathroom broke. He immediately went through the house with a water meter securing the area and setting up fans and dehumidifiers were necessary. He did a great job in closing the fans in the particular area that needed to be dried out. Tatum was articulate precise, thorough, and professional on the way that he approached his job. He was very respectful to My husband and I and made sure that we understood every step of the procedure.

This company is absolutely terrible. It has been three months and we are still waiting for our master bathroom to be repaired. Chad has been a horrible project manager. The subcontractor never shows up and we get the runaround. We do not receive return phone calls or texts. We were promised it would be completed in about 10 days and this whole process was started in June. We are at our wits end with them. The third picture is the whole in the floor that you can see our basement through. Fortunately, no one has fallen through, yet.

This review is for mitigation. Antonio, Tatum, and Nathan worked on the mitigation of my townhouse. Antonio did the initial consultation and took pictures and measurements. Tatum removed sections of drywall and floor to check for moisture, set up the fans and dehumidifier, and came by the next day to check on the progress of drying. Nathan also checked on the progress of drying and removed the equipment when everything was dry. They were all very nice and communicated clearly. They helped explain the process of what they were doing and answered questions I had. Update: 12/5/25 This review is for contents. This review is for the contents dept which moved my belongs out and in. Brenda, Austin, and Patrick were so awesome. From the care of my furniture to the helpful hints that Brenda gave me (she is lovely) it was a wonderful experience. Austin was so conscientious and careful with my belongings and Patrick was very responsive when I had questions, always returning my calls promptly. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience with this group!! This review is for the management of my entire project and the work itself. The quality of the work done was perfect. If there was an issue it was fixed immediately. Ed Pizzaro was my project manager and he responded to any concerns I had promptly. All workers who worked on my house, flooring, painting, sanding, etc were very courteous and hard work
