Paul Davis Restoration of New Haven

1 star is generous for this company. We have been dealing with them since June of 2025 after a flood in our basement. Communication = non-existent. Management/organization is completely incompetent. After waiting MONTHS for measurements to be submitted and materials to be ordered.... it was ordered incorrectly. How does a contracting company not know how to measure correctly and order supplies accordingly? Then, they had us order and pick up materials (grout) because they did not confirm color choices. What are we paying this company for if we are supplying the materials? Scheduling has been a whole additional disaster. My home does not have an open door policy. The company has cancelled on us numerous times for anything from truck breakdowns, insufficient materials due to ordering errors,

Read before you hire this company! My experience has been very difficult. The review comments about the lack of communication are completely true. I sit here today. with my project that we have a signed contract unfinished. Have already experienced multiple no shows when they said they would do the work, they had to pull off a 3rd party contracting company because they also didn’t do what was agreed upon with replacing a ceiling. My project manager is often nowhere to be found outside of Monday-Friday when he is the one scheduling guys outside of those days. The review comments also about the mess (dust) are also true I have a children’s playroom downstairs that now needs to be fully cleaned as everything is dusty from the work they have completed. Very meticulous work, friendly and professional staff, it looks like the water damage never happened and the house looks better than it did before. I posted some before and after photos below. Truly amazing transformation, I highly recommend this company.

Anthony and his crew did an excellent job from start to finish. All his team were polite and cared about making sure my belongings were safely packed. He also went out of his way to put some boxes aside for me upon request when it appeared the work would take longer than anticipated and we needed some things.

these folks were great, from our initial contact until the final piece was put up, awesome, easy to work with, did everything they could to accommodate our requests/changes even after the project started. would definitely recommend them to anyone that needs their expertise, every step of the way they were there, professional, neat, cleaned up, adjusted their schedule when possible to appease us, great friendly people. couldn't be happier.
