Error code 111 on my tankless water heater for a about a week. Did my own process of elimination.. However, i felt ive exhausted all my options and so I called a few plumbing companies on a Saturday evening. No answer from any EXCEPT for Payless Plumbing. Great customer service. They were here the next day at noon on a Sunday. Figured out the issue gave me options. Great first experience. Definitely will recommend them...

Payless plumbing service was everything I could have hoped for. Their communication was an A+ giving me a window of time as well as 30 minute heads up for when the plumber was officially on the way. We were assigned John G who was very friendly, knowledgeable and provided great service and advice/quotes for future work. For our specific work today, John snaked drains, took a look at our hot water heater and pumps that had some leaks, and evaluated our baseboard heat. He was very thorough in explaining what was (and what wasn’t) needed for each. Would definitely use these folks again!

I initially thought the issue was my water heater, so I contacted the manufacturer, A. O. Smith, who referred me to Payless Plumbing. It turned out to be a problem with the expansion tank instead. John diagnosed the issue quickly, explained everything thoroughly—including how to prevent it from happening again in the future—and was prepared to fix it during the same visit. The appointment was scheduled quickly, which I really appreciated, and the quality of work showed the care and expertise John brings to his work. Thank you, John!
