PDX Urban Gardens

Kyle provided an in-person consultation of our front yard in early spring. We spent years struggling with what to do with our front lawn, which was boxy and mostly grass. Kyle immediately shared his vision for ripping out the grass and replacing with a fruit tree guild and all native plants. We moved forward with Kyle, who provided a full-blown digital design with hand-picked plants/flowers. My husband did the labor but followed Kyle's design to a T and we could not be happier with the outcome. Kyle continued to provide support along the way (answering plenty of questions over call, text, email). In just a few short months, we've harvested several artichoke and blueberries, our apple tree is growing, and we take pleasure in hummingbirds and bumble bees frequenting our yard (they NEVER did

I've been fortunate to have Kyle as the installing contractor on a few of my design projects, so far, and hope to continue our collaboration into the future. He know his stuff, is passionately committed to sustainable and ecologically beneficial practices, and is a joy to work with.

We had Kyle over to help us get ideas on how to manage a few difficult sloped areas that we’ve been working on removing invasives from. He was very generous with his time and knowledgeable. He sent a great email full of ideas and resources that we are working on implementing. We are so excited to support our local habitat and create beauty in our yard. In addition, we’ve seen his work on our friends house. His designs are beautiful!
