Penn Warwick Public And Hotel Parking

If you're staying at the hotel, this isn't a bad spot to stay at, but it's in a narrow alleyway, which makes it frustrating to get into the hotel, since you need a keycard to open the door to the hotel. It's rather costly, 2 nights will run you $90, and then there's the $11 credit card fee. Oh yea, if you come here in the morning, expect VERY narrow roads as there may well be a giant truck picking up laundry or trash blocking the majority of the alley.

I’ll give this garage 2 stars because the attendants were courteous and coming in and out was quick even though it’s not self-park. Penn Medicine validated my parking for 2hrs and I went over the time by 15-20 min so I was charged $7. No problem. However I was up-charged $11 simply because I didn’t have cash and had to use my card. The fee to pay by card is egregious. I could understand a dollar, but adding $4 plus a $.39 “procurement fee” (really? You couldn’t take it out of the $4) to pay by card is predatory.

The valet took my car, destroyed it and act like nothing happened. I’ve left all my information and no one has gotten in contact with me. I call but no help at all but they will write me a check for all the damages.

I don't know why there are bad reviews. We stayed 2 nights at the Warwick. It is really easy to get into the hotel from the parking garage. You don't have to go outside. We got the car a couple of times during our stay. No problems. The guys working in the garage were great. I tipped them each time they brought my car up. A few times they seemed surprised to get a tip. I would park here again. Realize it is in an old building so the alley leading back to it can seem tight. But all streets in downtown Philly are tight.

I use the Best Parking App to secure parking spaces whenever I travel by car to a significant city. You must prepay for your space, so make sure you figure out your arrival time, how long you need the space and your departure time. Once I prepay for the parking space, I take a photo of the QR code to show upon entry and when I return to pick up my vehicle. I also carry my extra car key fob to the garage, so I don't give my entire key ring with my home key. The Best Parking App also reminds you if your time is about to expire, and you can add additional time right on the App if necessary. Finally, the Garage attendants were courteous when entering the garage and leaving.
