Ryan and his team were great, they sanded and refinished the original hardwood in my new house I just bought, back in June 2022. They were fast and efficient, and a great price. I definitely recommend them!!! I am only just getting around to write a Review its now October 2022 and getting a lot of work done still with a lot of contractors traffic throughout the house and the floors still look amazing.. Extremely satisfied thank you Ryan!!!

Philly Hardwood Floors did an excellent job in restoring & refinishing 550 sf of deteriorated wood flooring in our very old apartment. Ryan (Owner) scraped+sanded the floors to remove old carpet underlayment’s adhesives, deodorized the area to remove extensive cat urination issues & applied 2-3 coats of an oil based polyurethane coatings using a low 275 VOC product that I specified. I hired Ryan and his team for two issues: fixing some cracked and squeaky stairs, and installing handrails next to my stairs for safety. They did extremely low quality work on the handrail job. They did not attach the handrail to the studs and it pulled right out of the wall within weeks of normal use. They tried fixing the cracked stairs with glue and extra screws but that did not last for long. I hired another contractor to replace the stair treads which is what actually needed to be done. I wish I had known about this other contractor from the beginning as they did much better work! I think Ryan was just trying to get my cash and accepted jobs his team does not know how to do properly. He also refused to answer my requests for a refund. Do not use them.

Ryan (the owner) was very nice and knew his stuff. But the job wasn't completed, they told us to call back and they'd come finish it. I have texted, called, left voicemails, emailed and even went to the address listed (address was an apartment complex). This was 2 years ago. No one has contacted us back. The flooring wasn't installed properly either, flooring is already chipped and coming up.

Ryan and his team did an amazing job and we are very satisfied. Job was carpet removal from the second floor and two sets of stairs. Hardwood installed on second floor and sanding / staining of both sets of stairs. Job was finished in a reasonable amount of time at a great price! We were impressed at how quick they finished the complete job in 1 1/2 days. Ryan communicated everything very well and professionally from start to finish. We are very pleased to have new beautiful looking floors versus the old carpeting in the house we bought almost 4 years ago. Wish we did it sooner!
