Pier 40 Parking

Parked here in August 2025 in an F 350 longbed 22 feet 4 ton gasser. The sign says no trucks but I think that applies to commercial trucks. The clearance is 8 ft 2 inches for daily parking but it might accommodate taller on the roof with a monthly pass. My only complaint was that the pigeons and birds roost inside so there’s a lot of pigeon poop might want to bring a cover. It’s covered and secure and I left my rods and three bikes and cooler and no one messed with it. This is the best place to park in lower Manhattan in my opinion, can uber pretty much anywhere from here and the taxis all use the west side highway and FDR anyway. Little tip for you if you check out your unladen GVWR the limit on the Brooklyn Bridge is 3 tons and the FDR is less so find alternate routes.

Perfect parking space infront of the river cruise terminal. Fair priced and safe, even for my Mercedes Maybach.

So bad customer service, the staff are so rude they don’t know how be polite with the customer and explain what you need to do.

The system is absolutely horrible. You pay $42 to get on the boat then you have to walk 2 city blocks to get to the parking lot…. What’s the point?!?! Then leaving out is a whole ordeal they don’t have a prepaid line vs. cash line. I’m currently sitting 45 minutes waiting to get out with my PRE-PAID ticket
