The worst place to have your moving done have had lots of damage. If they tell you, to talk to Kelle don’t waist your time does not answer or return calls. Would not suggest them for anything.Just a few photos I’m sure they will get removed. Still missing stuff. Also they lost a 387 lb safe???? They eventually figured it out!!!!!!!

We used Planes Moving and Storage for a local move (5 miles) in Columbus, Ohio. We had multiple quotes, but went with them with the thought that they were a big company with a lot of resources. We came to find out that they use contracted teams for their moving services. I did not know this going in, but it definitely contributes to a lack of accountability. The teams were different people on different days, so there was a disjointed feeling to the whole process. The "packing"team consisted of nice people, but they moved relatively slowly and did not finish. That left us with a lot of additional work before the "moving" team came. The quoting piece was great, communication was clear and concise. The movers themselves were extremely polite and professional. They did damage both house but that was covered. I did end up paying extras as they went over, so be cautious of this too. The piece I would caution anyone is with the claims. With the original claim there was minimal communication back. I had to continually ask for updates. And the update was basically the information was mailed on x date. No explanation as to what was or was not covered. This should have been clearly communicated via email before anything was mailed. They tried to deny coverage for items that were packed by their own team. I wanted to take a moment to share my appreciation for the incredible team who helped pack my home over the past three days. Ben, Chris, Angel, and the other three gentlemen were some of the kindest, hardest-working, and most respectful crew members I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. Not only did they demonstrate constant professionalism, but they also carried themselves with such positive and uplifting attitudes—even when the days grew long and the work got heavy. They consistently addressed me by name, listened attentively to any questions or concerns I had, and always took the time to explain details clearly and respectfully. The only redeeming quality of our move (and thus the single star) was the positive experience I had scheduling the move with our move coordinator, Hannah. The rest of the experience was so disappointing and I still don’t feel like things have been resolved to my satisfaction. It’s unacceptable that a company like Planes, who positions themselves as a premium move provider, could 1) mess up scheduling by putting a job before ours, knowing that we had a required “no later than” destination arrival time that was out of our control; 2) lose touch with our moving crew for over 2 hours while we were waiting for the crew to arrive; and 3) not have any contingency planning in place once it became clear that our crew had either disappeared or was significantly delayed.
