Plum Windows & Doors

We love our new fiberglass replacement windows! We had 11 windows replaced in the house and it is amazing how quiet it is now. The windows also helped to significantly cool down the house. I guess it also helps that we are now able to open our windows to create a draft throughout the house, compared to our old casement windows that wouldn't open very easily, if at all. The installation process itself was fairly painless. With the exception of moving furniture away from each window for the installers. The installers ensured everything was cleaned both inside and out prior to finishing. Considering that replacing windows can be a dirty job and can result in the need to patch some areas around the window frame. Definitely over priced, and very poor customer seevice response. The product quality is slightly better, but it does not justify the price gouging (it's only aluminum, wood, or vinyl!). I asked for a quote on three aluminum windows & door. Week later had to call them back to remind them about me. After I finally received the quote, I had more questions, so I emailed my questions to the GM, John Wagner, and 2 weeks later still no response or follow up call. My impression is that they are only interested in big $$ orders.

We're very satisfied with our Plum windows experience. The Plum representative came to our home, explained the available options, and clearly answered all of our questions. The installation crew was neat and polite and did a beautiful job. The interior finish work was so well done that no touch-up painting was needed, and the LoE- 366 glass allowed us to ditch our exterior solar screens and enjoy the full view from our bedroom windows without roasting in the morning sun.

Decided to finally write a review about this company. First, let me say that my windows were done well, like them. I had 11 windows done. I have had them installed for over 7 years now, no problems. Well, no problems with the windows. This is an experience I look back on and kick myself. I wish I could remember the salesman's name as he is the reason I kick myself. He came in with all the "bells and whistles" did a good job showing me the effectiveness of their product. I was liking what I was hearing. Then the price $26,000!!!!! I was blown away! He back tracked, sharpened his pencil. Then told me that if they could put a Plum Window front yard advertisement then he could do better. He came down to $16,500. I should have showed him the door. A sales representative by the name of Adam came to my home to give me the sales pitch. It was interesting but way too long. He told me he would get back to me within the week with an emailed quote. After ten days, I contacted him. He told me someone at the office had gone to a funeral and he was busy. He finally sent me a quote which took my breath away. That's not the complaint. We live in a market economy where anything goes. He asked me to send him a quote I had received from another vendor to see if there was anything they could do to adjust and/or compete with their quote. I sent him the quote. After ten days and not hearing from him, I emailed him again and asked if he was still sending me an adjusted quote or at the very least a comment saying they could not compete with the previ
