Plymouth Twp Building Department

On the few occasions I have interacted with the Building Department via the phone I've been left appalled at their professionalism and their lack of customer service and having common decency while talking to an individual. When I asked for assistance in locating a property to pull a permit because the website was not working the woman that answered the phone was clearly annoyed and refused to help. It was my problem not hers. And she was very condencending. "Well you can ask the homeowner" If you cannot afford to lose this "upstanding" employee I would recommend keeping her in the backroom and away from people.

I pull numerous permits for the contracting company I work for and have never had a more unpleasant experience dealing with a building department. I called to verify if an address was in their jurisdiction and the woman who answers the phone is rude and condescending. I'm appauled by the lack of common courtesy and professionalism.

On my few trips I've made here to pull permits I have been left shocked at the horrible customer service skills of the workers. I think this is the worst of all the townships and city's in the Detroit area and I try to avoid Plymouth as much as possible for this reason.
