Plymouth/Ann Arbor Fencing Academy

Plymouth Ann Arbor Fencing Academy has been an incredible part of our daughter’s fencing journey. She started fencing here five years ago when the club was newly established, and we’ve seen tremendous growth since then. The owner and coaches are exceptional people, very supportive, knowledgeable, and truly invested in each athlete’s development. Today, our daughter competes in national competitions with strong performances, and we credit coaches for building both her skills and confidence. What we value most is that the coaches emphasize balance, encouraging students to excel in both academics and fencing. The sense of community at PA2FA is outstanding, and we are grateful to be part of it.

Few coaches are very rude and racists. One heavy snow day, I drove my son to the group lesson, because I had to drive 30 miles and the highway speed was 20 mile/h due heavy snow accumulation. It normally takes 30 minutes drive and ends up over 1 hour to get to the classroom. We were obviously late by about 30 minutes for the class .  Instead of welcame us to the effort (risking our life by driving on a heavy snow highway) to attend the group class, the old lady (Possibly from Russia) insisted my 10 years old son say "hello" to her otherwise she will not allow my son to join the group class, while the class is just doing warm up activities playing soft-ball. Ispoke to the lady (assume the coach for this group class) asked her to let my son join the ball play. She refused to let my son join
