PODS Moving & Storage

These folks made a pleasant and fantastic experience out of what I expected to be mildly miserable at best! We set up a long distance move from Cali to Texas. It was necessary to take advantage of their “City Service” option. Our driver, Cesar De La Mora, was outstanding to work with. Very polite, super helpful and willing to assist with key advice and pointers along the way. Cesar went WAY above and beyond! He is a huge part of why I would recommend PODS without reservation. Thank you, sir. Everyone we spoke with in their office(s) was just as helpful! Apologies for not catching everyone’s names to call out here.

Asked driver to rotate pod for easier offload to driveway and were told no. Only needed to drive around block to have truck pointed in other direction for offload. Since POD was pushed up against curb, storm water from rain was blocked and had to divert around POD. Approximately 2" of water came into POD with door down which damaged furniture and ruined items in cardboard boxes. This could have been avoided if driver rotated POD as requested.

Boris Rodriguez was in charge of my City Delivery and he was on top of it. He was punctual, professional and very helpful throughout. He even managed to come earlier after my request. He went the extra mile and deserves the recognition. This was my first experience with PODs and I can now say it was a great one. I also had several calls with the team and they were extremely pleasant and willing to help. I want to emphasize that this makes them stand out from their competitors, so I hope they continue to value customer service.

The only reason for 2 stars instead on 1 is because the drop off service went very smoothly and the driver was exceptional. However, when I scheduled my container to be delivered to it's new location, not only did they cancel the delivery but they didn't even notify me. They could have called, texted, emailed OR updated the website but NONE of that was done. They just cancelled the delivery!! And I was paying people on the other end to unload the container. It ended up taking 3 days to get my container delivered. I will never use nor recommend services from PODS!!

Thanks Jimmy. You and your team were very professional, courteous, patient and flexible. You made my having to go through my aunt's storage following her passing less stressful. I would recommend this location to anyone needing a place to store their belongings. I appreciate it 😊. - Brickell
