Pools By Design

Very happy with our pool. The team (Dalton and Duane) was very helpful and available to address and questions or concerns that came up during the process. There were a couple minor things that came up and they responded quickly and got things taken care of. One pending fix and we are all set.

Pools by Design helped us turn a small ordinary patio and back yard space into a beautifully landscaped pool with a sauna. The work, from design through construction, was truly stellar. They utilized every square foot of our back yard space, and patio, to turn an ordinary and largely unusable space into a lovely, relaxing, oasis. They did it all on time and on budget. The construction team was superb. And they helped us set up the remote access to controls, which work beautifully. They coordinated with an outstanding landscaper and put together a beautiful landscape design, with lights. As an overview, the design was great, but getting it done was a terrible experience. A 4 month plan took 9 before we could use it, and after nearly a year there are still things not working. We signed the contract in mid December with our expectation set that the project would be completed roughly mid April. This was a fairly straight forward pool and hardscape design with a grill island. Total cost was a quarter million, so I expected with premium pricing, we would get premium service, but that was not the case. We were finally able to use the pool for the first time mid August, but mid October, we are still trying to get things working (lights, water effect, acid tank are all inoperable). I highly recommend Pools By Design. I had nothing but positive experiences with their team, starting with the designer of our pool Marianne Larison. She was always very helpful and listened to our input. Kellie in the warranty department has also been amazing and responsive when I have had questions about our equipment. And last, but certainly not least, is our Project Manager, Jake. He did a superb job of managing all the subcontractors and the entire process. Pools by Design is all about integrity from the beginning of the project until the end.

Mark, Duane and the crew took great care of us and gave us a wonderful pool. They worked with the unique terrain we had and created a focal point for the backyard. Subs were all nice and respectful, picking up after themselves as well.
