Hired them over 2 years ago had a family matter delayed the project. When I called them back they did rough in failed few times noticed them and they took forever to come back and fix issues to pass rough in. Not on final since November trying to get them to come back to finish hey send guys they work few hours then we get excuses and excuses going on 3 months to finish and call for final already paid them over 90% and they do not finish there contract. Call office over and over and they just give excuses and never have time to finish there contract. Last excuses was they didn’t have light fixtures witch was lie as I had them sitting inside since November. My husband called POPS Electric for a receptacle problem we were having in the garage. They were very punctual and came right out. And on a positive note, the technician was very nice, professional and tried to be helpful. I'm not sure why it took 3 people to come out but they came out to check the receptacle and couldn't find anything wrong with that receptacle but immediately stated that I needed a separate line & a bigger breaker for what I was running. He thought that sounded like a good idea and agreed to proceed with this. In the meantime, the problem with the questionable receptacle was left unresolved. I did not end up using POPs Electric, so can only speak to my experience trying to secure their services after getting an advertisement mailer. Reached out a few time both through their website and phone, attempts to contact them online resulted in responses to call their office. Gentleman I spoke with was nice but it very difficult to hear him and felt I was calling someone in their house. Ultimately did not end up using them, their fee structure involved service charges along with charging mileage for them to come fix my issue in the local Winston area. Ended up going with another vendor that wasn't charging me travel fees. Perhaps if you're more local in their service area it might be worth using them, saw other comments that they do good work. Had a generator hookup connected to subpanel, some additional outbuilding wiring, and installed a 24hr timer for a pool pump. Tommy was VERY responsive and his crew left the work area clean and neat. Exactly what I wanted, cost was in line with what I expected, and speed to delivery was outstanding. I have already recommended POPS electric to a buddy who was needing some work done, and I feel comfortable writing this review and recommending them at large. I had called a couple other electricians and they either didn't want to touch the smaller jobs, or were 2-3 weeks behind. POPS was same week, which was fine with me. I emailed them to get a price on installing an outside receptacle. They advertise no job too small. I guess they just a fly by night business. They could have at least called me. I won't call on you again pops! I checked back through my emails and did not find a response from you. I wanted to get my job done quickly. I do true and honest reviews. You never emailed me back. Please be honest. All of my reviews are honest. I always tell the truth. You be honest!
