Brady and his team came in and did several custom pieces of work for us: Building a railing around the top of an open staircase replacing rotting floor boards in 2nd floor of carriage house fitting old drainage basins in carriage house stable with level flooring builiding a bar to fit between old iron posts and affixing it to the posts themselves The team did exactly as they promised and Brady's attention to detail and judgement on what would look best were excellent. In a few cases Brady counseled us to change course because something we had asked for was not coming out as expected. This saved us money and we ended up with a better looking project in the end. Brady Bankston and his team at Popularis Construction were superb. What impressed me most was Brady’s attention to detail and desire to please his customer. We had never done any major work on our home and I was suspicious of contractors in general based on what I had always heard from others about unscrupulous business practices and lack of reliability. However, Brady immediately dispelled my fears. Our project changed several times and Brady was unfailingly gracious and open to my modifications. He gave opinions when asked, and was always open to feedback. His craftsmanship was beautiful and he demonstrated this in every room of my home. Brady and the entire team at Popularis are top notch, in all regards. If someone had told me when we started construction on our home that it would be a pleasant experience and we would actually miss the contractors when they were gone, I would have called them crazy. But, this was in fact the case. Brady and his team are honest, dedicated, meticulous and patient. They have wonderful ideas and are great problem solvers, and they take customer satisfaction very seriously. Popularis updated a laundry room to a more functional mud/laundry room combo for my family, installed new tile flooring in a bathroom, tiled my kitchen backsplash, installed and painted crown molding, installed wainscoting in several areas of the house, and installed beautiful built-in cabinets in the dining room. My review is based on the lack of customer service/professionalism. It took nearly 3 weeks to get an appointment/consultation to discuss our projects (2 bathroom remodels). Brady finally came out and said he could get a quote ready by the end of that week and could possibly squeeze in a small framing job the following week. After not hearing from Popularis for another 3 weeks, I called to check in and first received a voicemail that Brady was working on the quote. The following morning I received a call that after looking at their schedule, Brady did not think they could fit our remodels into their schedule - even though we never gave a deadline to get the remodels done. Their handling of customers and potential business was absolutely unprofessional and ultimately a waste of time.

We have worked with Brady for the past several years and Popularis continues to focus on quality workmanship and customer service. Popularis strives to work with each customer to create a unique design that fits their style and budget. In addition, Popularis stands behind their work. While no one likes a call back to fix a problem...it's nice to know that Brady and Popularis will answer the phone and fix the issue. Great Company!!
