Don't recommend! A friend recommended working with John and we started with a quote for my patio project in May 2024. He was working on other projects so he began the work in August. Pay attention because his quote states “withdraws requested as needed!” I should have known better than to give more than the standard 30% up front and the rest upon completion! Lesson learned. We went back and forth about ideas and adjusted the plans a bit. In between our discussion, he was working on other jobs and delayed getting to mine, although he had no problem asking for payments and cashing my checks. His words were “I should have you finished up by Thanksgiving.” In December I saw very little progress and heard excuses like “I lost my phone,” “the weather has been bad,” and he had a “family emergency

Talk about a horrendous experience, had to have the cops come an escort this man off of our property. My sister in law hired this man to finish our patio. Paid every time he needed the money. He proceeded to do absolutely nothing. Smoke cigarettes and leave them on the patio for our animals to eat and get sick. Left the back gate wide open for them to get out when let outside to use the bathroom. Had the audacity to try and take the material that was laid for the job, in front of the cops that told him to put it down and get going. I feel very sorry for the next people that trust this man to do any work for them.

John repaired our washing machine and toilet and now I have as asked him to upgrade my office. He is a wonderful carpenter, construction guy, electrician, handyman, or whatever you need. We recommend John for all your needs.

Well, I didn’t want the deck level, but it is. Just kidding. I’m very pleased with the outcome. Great workmanship. And I love his helper Pearl 😁
