Isn't it wonderful when something exceeds all expectations?! I purchased beautiful carriage doors from this amazing Portland, Oregon company and am beyond pleased! They were shipped across the country to Virginia! Everything went quite well! Communication with Tom was excellent - planning to shipping to delivery! He provided expert guidance and kept me informed during the building of the extraordinary wooden doors. The doors arrived securely, and Tom was available for questions from the contractor who installed them. Everything was seamless, start to finish! I'm delighted with the quality wood and craftsmanship! They're a "statement" piece and add tremendous appeal and value to my property. (I converted a detached garage to an art studio, and the doors replaced a tired, basic, metal garage

Wow! We wanted custom Carriage-style garage doors to fit the character of our house and Tom came through. He measured the opening, consulted on style and operation, helped choose hardware, and installed the doors he custom built in less than a month. They work perfectly and look terrific. Tom was very flexible on our timing and allowed us to paint the doors ourselves after they were built and before they were installed, making it so much easier to get the job done right. I'll add some pics after the trim is installed.

I can only say good things about the planning, purchase and installation of a beautiful clear-grain fir 8' carriage door. It looks gorgeous and functions perfectly. The craftsmanship is that of a piece of furniture rather than a door. I recommend PCDC without qualification.
