Excellent work, Potomac Services! I needed to replace my chimney chase cover due to aging (rust!) on the original unit, and this company did a great job. I received multiple quotes and they were definitely the best deal overall. They had exceptional communication, timely work, and were very professional overall. I would choose them again for future chimney needs!

I had an outstanding experience with Potomac Services. They were able to get me on the schedule quickly, and Rob—who handled our service—was incredibly professional from start to finish. I was bracing for a major issue with our older fireplace, but Rob’s thorough assessment revealed the situation wasn’t nearly as bad as we feared. Initially, it looked like we’d need custom-manufactured parts, but Rob went the extra mile to contact the original manufacturer directly. Fortunately, they still produced the parts, which significantly reduced the repair cost—by nearly half. Rob’s expertise, honesty, and effort saved us time and money, and he truly exemplifies excellent customer service. Thanks to him, Potomac Services has earned my trust and long-term loyalty. Contacted them via their web site 12/9/2025 to coordinate some inspection/repair work for my chimney. As of 12/14/2025 they never reached back out to me. Complete radio silence. Not entirely sure how you make money as a business when you won't schedule services with customers who contact you to provide them.

Fernando was just extremely polite , professional and clean in servicing our chimney and resecuring the chimney cover. We also had some cracks in the interior and he is drawing up proposal to address. Would highly recommend this company. Making the appointment was easy and they came on time!
