This was our second time remodeling with Powell—this time opening up our downstairs into a beautiful new farmhouse kitchen and mudroom! Wow! Lindsay listened to what we wanted and helped us design a gorgeous kitchen that we can easily cook in while entertaining! Tom and Trent provided the initial vision, while Joe was attentive and an excellent problem solver on site—no question or concern was too small for him to attend to. And if not for Heidi, we may never have gotten organized to move forward. Thank you all— we are so proud of your work and look forward to working with you again in the future.

We love our new kitchen! Powell did everything we asked, with careful attention to detail, and completed the project as budgeted. We did a full remodel: new flooring, cabinets, countertop, appliances. Powell prepared -- and stuck to -- a detailed (and quite reasonable) budget and schedule. We thought we were detail-oriented people; they are even more so. They kept a lead carpenter on site throughout the actual work, who was great at both conveying our wishes to the subcontractors and doing the hard work of getting all the finishing touches just right. Powell was a perfect fit for us: High-quality work, complete transparency regarding the work, the budget, and the schedule, and, most importantly, the willingness to discuss -- and address -- every aspect of the project, however minor.

Our experience with Powell Construction was superb from beginning to end. We came to Powell with a kitchen remodel project. We appreciated the way to their designer guided us through the hundreds of detail choices to be made. She did this in a way that helped us make the choices that were right for us without ever imposing her own style on us. Once the decisions were made and the project was completely defined, the result was a fixed-price contract (with allowances, where necessary). Our first experience was a well-orchestrated installation of six skylights, so Powell Construction was our first choice for a major kitchen remodel plus installation of wood floors throughout our home. From start to finish excellent customer service never wavered. Our designer listened to our thoughts and ideas and incorporated them beautifully into the project. All the sub-contractors were top notch. Skilled in their areas, neat, and courteous. My husband and I are thrilled with the outstanding work that Powell did for our kitchen remodel!
