Powell Septic Tank Service

I paid to have my septic tank clean out in October 2023, after closing on our home. We were told the tank was cleaned out, along with filter. Well, here I am, paying a new company to clean out the tank again within 8 months. I’m extremely frustrated that I was told that the solids were not allowed to be pumped out. The fact that the solids were left behind, means that the clean out was not done properly the first time. The new company cleaned the tank out completely, along with jetting out the intake and outgoing pipes. It would have been nice to have this done right the first time and not cost us more than double… along with months of smelly drains. After the recent storm and unprecedented rain going into the ground, I decided to get my tank pumped. I talked to them and two days later they were able to come out and pump my tank. They were very knowledgeable about my system and how it worked and explained everything very well. The price was very affordable. I will use these guys in the future.

After having another company not show for an appointment that I stayed home the morning for and not calling, I called and found out they forgot me. They said they would be in contact for the next week but that didn't happen either. I then reached out to 2 friends that have septic tanks to find out who they used for service. Both recommended Powell Septic so I called them. Leslie said it would be the next week before he could get out. A couple days later he called to see if I was available to come by, which I was. He suggested replacing the tank lid as it was an old well cover and to install a riser to make access to the tank easier.
