Prairie Restorations Garden Center - Esko

I am writing this review for anyone who is wondering or wishing to plant any size native habitat which will bring delight to birds, bees, butterflies, and humans. Beginning in early summer 2022, Prairie Restorations prepared, seeded and planted a treasure trove of various native flowers, grasses, trees and shrubs surrounding my house and driveway. Though I couldn't yet fully imagine how beautiful it would be, by August last year, I decided to add some plantings to a bit more of my land to include my septic mound. My goal is to be a good steward of the land, not only creating a habitat for wildlife it would attract but to never again spend many of my dwindling hours during spring and summer months pushing or riding a lawnmower. We have had a great experience working with PRI and have been really pleased with their consulting, management and installation services (working through the Boreal Natives location--we are in northern MN outside of Duluth). They did an excellent job prepping and planting a very challenging site on our property to help us meet our goal of a diverse, pollinator friendly habitat with great results. They have consistently helped us over the years with weed management, mowing and prescribed fire. And a fabulous native plant nursery operation to boot! Extremely professional and with a wealth of expertise.
