I was extremely pleased with the service provided by Prato Chimney Service. They had already come highly recommended on my town's website so I gave them a call. Joe offered to come out for an estimate the next day and the day after the work was done. His team was efficient and cleaned up beautifully after the job was finished. Joe is knowledgeable and professional. Highly recommend!

Insert installation was horribly done!!! Major downdraft issues became apparent during the winter - cold air pours into the house around the fire box because no insulation was installed around the insert itself, at the top of the liner, or enough to plug the cavity around the removed removed flue. The back of the fireplace wall, where they jackhammered, was left with multiple holes creating additional downdrafts issues. Finally, no block-off plate was installed. When we were able to identify these issues, Sally was very pushy, condescending, and ultimately non-responsive when we asked how we could get these issues fixed. Do your future self a favor and find another company so you don’t have to double-pay to fix their shortcut craftsmanship years later!

Joe, Sally, and their team did a great job on my chimney. They rebuilt the exterior and install new flashing. I like that the new part blends well with the rest of the chimney.
