Alex Germaine is an artist. He is patient, knowledgeable, experienced and helpful. He makes it as easy as it can be for his clients. He is prompt and always fulfills his promises. He took our dark cherry wood 35 yr old kitchen and made it a new, bright, clean and beautiful off white. It changed the way the entire house looks. We are still shocked at the change. We never expected such professional work. Also, Alex works quickly but carefully and never leaves a mess behind. I would recommend him to anyone who wants a "refresh" and a new beginning.

Alex did an amazing job and was a pleasure to work with. He painted our mismatched green cabinets and island white to match with the rest of the kitchen and I couldn't be happier with the results. Alex did an amazing job with our kitchen reface. It looks brand new. He came on time for the estimate, was communicative the entire process, emailed and quote and worked around our timing graciously. We needed to replace one cabinet and the entire job was already completed prior to the cabinet arriving from the manufacturer and Alex graciously agreed to paint it whenever it arrived (it was delayed at the manufacturers). He was respectful and always timely. I can’t recommend him more. A 5 star rating hardly does him justice. Thanks Alex for my gorgeous kitchen I’m no longer embarrassed to have people over!

We just had Alex complete our Kitchen cabinet painting. Wow- what a difference. Our cabinets were in good shape but wanted to change the look. I was worried about undertaking such a project. We didn't want them to look like painted trim. The first time we met with Alex, he really put our minds at ease. He carefully and thoughtfully explains his process and really does his best to set expectations. We asked to review a sample and were really impressed by the potential of the finished product. We were also worried about the disruption of a kitchen project but he goes above and beyond to minimize and is very considerate of your personal schedule. Alex is a true craftsman who treats every job as if he were painting his own kitchen cabinets. This is a time-consuming process that requires patience, skill and dedication to obtain a perfect finished result. We wanted to have a faux finish applied to the cabinets after Alex had finished his work, and he interfaced seamlessly with the faux finish painter who wanted the cabinet painting by Alex applied in a manner that would support her artistry. The photos below show the transformation of two parts of our kitchen from a dark stained finish on cherry wood into a pleasing off-white finish that has a traditional warm elegance with the faux finish applied to Alex’s work. To say that we were pleased with the result would be a gross understatement. We are simply ecstatic.
