I requested utility markings for a community tree planting of a dozen bare root trees (which must be planted quickly). I was notified the day before planting day that the project was on hold for 48 hours. Since I had many people lined up to participate, I wrote the dispatcher, Joe Mutka, explaining the situation, not really expecting anything to be done to address it. Much to my surprise, Mr. Mutka responded and changed the schedule of the field technician so that the planting sites were marked in time for our event. I am very grateful to Mr. Mutka and Premier for being so flexible and helpful.

Everyone posting reviews realize the purpose of this companies work and the needs it fills to digging contractors is to identify and mark underground utilities. The contractor homeowners hire, and RESPONSIBLY SO, request a utility markout to prevent damaging underground lines. The yellow flags and paint everyone is complaining about is how this is accomplished and prevents workers from damaging the homeowners utilities those of which if happen to get damage could create a possible dangerous situation for homeowners and thier families. If anyone has every been without power or gas due to no utility markout and have been inconvenienced then it would be understood how important and necessary paint, which will eventually wear out, and flags which can easily be moved after work is done, actuall

Came to mark out National Grid. They had to dig up part of the lawn to access the meter and left a mess. The lawn was left with dirt on it and chunks of grass not put back in place. A simple raking of the lawn and some care in placing back the pieces of grass that were cut out would have sufficed. I called to complain and was told that my concerns would be related to a supervisor and I would hear back. That was a week ago and no response.

A man walked in my front yard, on my side yard under 2 bedroom windows. Parked across the street on my neighbors grass near his fence. After walking around all over he proceeded to spray the grass and put up little yellow flags on half of my lawn! We were already approved by our city to install a 5 panel corner fence also 5 days ago. Since that time we have had 2 different men walking on my lawn at 2 different times and days. Then they both proceeded to get back into their vehicles and sit out front of my house for 45 minutes to an hour before the left. My fence still is not installed. I wonder how many more men will show up unexpectedly without a knock on my door to let me know what and why they are walking around my property!
