Prince George Street Parking Garage

It is on the farside of the colonial complex. Great for parking for $1 for 5hrs (first 4 hrs free, yet had to put in a card and select $1 for the machine to work). No extra charges put on the card. Great spots to walk to merchant market. Visitors center charges $10 for all day. We had the 3 day bounce ticket so after we got the lay of the land we parked in this garage.

The Prince George Street Parking Garage is just great. This is a very large, multi-floor parking garage that is easy to get into and out of. It is super convenient to Colonial Williamsburg and shopping. It is also very easy to pay with a credit card at the machine and had inexpensive rates.

*** We got a parking citation in the mail after paying for parking at the kiosk *** As out of town visitors we paid for parking at the kiosk with 1/2 hour free and two hours paid. That was cheap only $1 per hour. We were just going to have lunch and walk around. We rushed to get back when we were running out of time but we are old and were a few minutes late. Maybe 10 minutes. We tried to extend the time but there was no way to do it at the kiosk… one of two were working. Lo and behold a couple of weeks later we received a citation in the mail for $9.95. We went to pay it online the same day we received it and there was another $6.00 late fee. So we paid $15.95 on top of the $2.00 we already paid. You can park all day for $12.00. Good prices, hard to get around, crowded and can be full but you dont know until you do a couple laps. Could use better directional signage. Twice I always got wacked because people were going the wrong way. Curbed my car getting out the exit as the turn us too tight.

Conveniently located to the merchants square area. The rate was reasonable and it caps at $12 per day. The spaces are small though so I would not park my Suburban there.
