Proper pH Pools

I switched to this company this year and thought they did an amazing job the entire season. Very reliable and did a good job cleaning the pool. And they have a back office that is very professional and communicates any issues with you directly. They just have a very good system that works.

what a great experience I had with Proper pH Pools. I had nothing but problems with another service company and Ursula came over and meet with us and by the following week our pool was looking fantastic. They are licensed certified pool professionals that really know what they are doing. highly recommended.

BEWARE! I had heard that owner was difficult but she’s a friend of the real estate broker so I gave her a shot. Mistake. Awful experience. Owner was altogether rude (screamed & told me she was doing me a favor) and way overpriced. The office staff is equally artless. Facts: My regular independent pool guy advised of a leak at the skimmer. My Home Buyer requested letter indicating disposition of pool. I called this company & spoke with Shira (owner) and explained that I sought the “Sale letter” from an established company. After paying $1,100+ this company told me nothing new. Yes, Skimmer had leak. Where in skimmer pipes? That info would cost an additional $250. They proposed repair @ $3,500 - even though they ostensibly didn’t know where leak was located. Another company quoted just

Overpriced, difficult to work with, and will ditch you without prior notice leaving your pool a mess. This company quotes a weekly rate but then adds hundreds of dollars in chemicals. A salt pool rarely requires chlorine, yet properPH will try to bill you for chlorine weekly along with a host of other products that are marked up 10x retail (not to mention wholesale). They're totally inflexible if you need to reschedule if, for instance, you're planning to have family in town and don't want the pool shocked right before your nephew is going swimming. It's challenging to reach them when you or they notice an issue. You have to sign up for their whole program and never "question" their service or pricing or they orphan your pool without any notice. Terrible company.

Proper Ph Pools came today to fix a problem with our pool pump. Immediately they replaced the pump and got everything back up and running. Great service from a locally owned company that we would highly recommend!!
