Proto Parking

Never park your car here. I've never encountered a more rude parking attendant who threatened to call the police just because Spot Hero was beginning in 6 minutes and he would not let a disabled person wait it out in the garage 6 minutes meanwhile there was no activity in the garage or a lack of space. Outside of the garage there's a ton of construction going on and lane closures on the block and it's near the exit for the Midtown Tunnel. Not easy place to pull out to wait for 6 minutes to come back. He then claimed the car was oversized and wanted to charge more, eventhough it is not. He yelled that he was going to call the police several times because I was on the phone reporting him to Spot Hero and was belligerent, threatening and yelling insults and then refused to park the car. Don't even waste your time or money parking here. The attendant refused to give me my car because I decided to come earlier at 3pm instead of 6pm due to my children being tired. The attendant said he would get my car in an hour, what the heck was I supposed to do for an hour? I had to call the cops to get the man to get my car. Did not take him an hour to get it

Major damage to my car and they denied they did it. Yeah, I would have noticed if I did this, and it was parked in my driveway protected. 100% at garage, they argued, denied it happened there, and refused to take a report. They refused to do anything and I just had to leave. I'm probably stuck with my deductible bill and whatever they raise my insurance. You can't drive a place like this out of business, because it's a garage in New York City. But just know, you will get screwed when they damage your car. I did park here dozens of times before this. But it only takes one incident of $5,000+ damage and the complete reneging on responsibility for me to stop.

I left my car there today and came back at 8:50pm to pick up my car and the garage was was closed. The Google add says that they close at 10 pm. What a headache! I will never use that garage again.

This is a completely ridiculous and horrible garage experience. I parked numerous times I’m never going back. They dripped crap on my windshield while parked for three days and then to get the car out they charged an extra $10 a day! cash only!! avoid this garage at all cost there’s plenty of other options.
