Public Parking: Laz Parking

One of the worst garages I have used in the city. The spaces are very small. Barely wide enough for 1 car. Also, there are 3 doors you must pass through to exit, and they are all filthy. I am not talking your normal public door. These were covered in filth. Also, where you do exit is between a large transformer and a wall. It was full of broken bottles and smelled like it was a toilet. I will not park here again.

I was nervous because of the bad reviews. But had no choice but to try it since it was next to our event. Used the ParkChirp app for the first time. Got a great price. Entered the parking without issue. There were many available spots. Not sure how large the garage is since we just took the first spot we saw but seemed to be decent availability. Great location near major area of Fulton Market and all the restaurants, lounges in walking distance. We left within the scheduled time after 1am and had no issue scanning the app to leave. The app QR code also works to scan into the door from the sidewalk to get back in. Based on this experience, I don't know of any issues with the garage. This garage was very nice to park in, convenient, and fairly empty, but we got stuck exiting and almost had to call 911 to get us out because the payment portal wouldn’t read my card, no matter which way I inserted. When we tried to call assistance using the button provided on the machine, the calls kept dropping and it took about ten tries to actually reach somebody. Not sure if this is a problem anyone else has dealt with here but I’ve never had this issue in any other garage.

This a probably the worse parking garage in the area. Constant sketchy people living in the garage. Pee, poop, overflowing garbage, broken gates, you name it. God forbid that your pass doesn’t work and you need to call someone from the intercom. You’ll be there for 15 mins and they’ll end up opening the gate for you out of frustration. They named themselves lazy parking for a reason.

I spoke with Vicki who was condescending And rude. I told her I wanted to cancel because of the raise in the cost. Instead of acknowledging the change, she told me that five dollars wasn't much, and that it shouldn't be a problem for me to pay it. Excuse me? Is this your money? This is the parking Spot I've used maybe twice a month. Not convenient, doesn't feel safe, and didn't do a thing to keep my car from weather damage. What's the point? Just as well off on the street
