Last week, we discovered a puddle of water in our utility closet. Initially, we thought it was a backflow issue. We called R&D Plumbing, and despite their busy schedule, they sent someone out the following morning. After assessing the situation, they determined we needed a new water heater. They scheduled the installation for the next day. The team removed the builder’s grade unit and replaced it with a new commercial unit. The installation took longer than expected due to an unforeseen issue left by the builder: they found rocks and gravel in the drain that could have caused major problems. The team took their time to remove as many pieces of gravel as possible. They also connected a recirculation pump in one of our bathrooms, allowing the water to warm up as soon as it’s turned on.
