They were quick to schedule and even quicker on the job...the repair looks good and took about an hr or less to complete. Had missing shingles over the dryer vent and parts of the back roof...shingles peeled back on the front of the roof near the peak...and some shingles that just needed to be hammered down a little, atleast i thought, but he replaced them...Only thing I didn't like was the fact that they didn't make contact with me before getting on the roof...whether call/txt or a knock on the door since I was home...just heard thumps from the other side of the house...assumed someone was trying to break in...I made it to the front door and looked outside and noticed their van...So yea, communication is definitely needed before hopping on a person's roof.

My roof was replaced on December 13, 2024. Tear off and installation of the new roof was all done in one day. However clearn up after the job leaves a lot to be desired. Today is February 3, 2025 and I'm still finding bits of roofing materials including nails in my yard/flower beds, sidewalk, and driveway. Additionally my gutter guards were damaged in multiple places.

Do not use this company. My negative experience was with Rocco. I decided to go with this company after hurricane Helene. They gave me a quote initially to repair the soffit and fascia, replace a few broken shingles, and fix a leak located around a pipe boot. They gave me a quote initially and then when i finally decided on them their quote ended up being hundreds higher. They cited that higher prices and demand had driven prices up. I said ok, we signed the paperwork and I waited. I called. I waited. I texted. I waited. Finally someone got ahold of me and told me the work had already been done on my home 2 weeks prior. No scheduling. No verification. No sign off. I was not home during this job at all. There were items from the job incomplete. There were still shingles missing and guess

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. My roof has been damaged since Hurricane Helene, and we needed our roof retarped until we’re able to afford to have it replaced. I reached out to RL Hayes to complete the job. Everyone seemed so nice. My sales guy was Rocco. Whom I’ve known for some time now. So I felt I would be in good hands. They charged me $700 to place two tarps on my roof that ripped and came apart within 3 weeks. They did a terrible job. I’ve tried multiple times to reach out to them and no one will answer my calls or return my calls. I’ve reached out to the salesperson (Rocco) cellphone and left messages and still no response. Horrible communication. They set up multiple visits and didn't show up. When you follow up the office lady has no idea about what's going on and says she'll follow and doesnt. Go with truth roofing or ez roofing for any roofing needs.
