Radon Abatement Systems

On 12/17/2025 Janryk from Radon Abatement Systems installed a Radon Mitigation System in our house. The attached picture of results speaks for itself. For the past 2 weeks (since the system was installed) we have had no Radon measurements above 1.0. Janryk came out to our house identified the best location for the system, did an excellent job of installing it and even painted the pipe above the roof black to meet HOA guidelines. Janryk is currently a certified Radon Mitigation Specialist at the National Radon Safety Board (NRSB). His expertise was clear and all work was excellent. I highly recommend them. EPA recommends thinking about mitigating Radon when levels are between 2 and 4. Our readings would sometimes exceed 4, before mitigation and now are below 1 after mitigation.

1yr update: We had radon system installed last year. We saw the radon levels start dropping the same day (photo). The spike is when our sump pump failed and the radon pump was gurgling some water. No concerns on radon now. We haven’t had to have call back. The install was excellent if I remember correctly. There was not much room for error as the pipe had to exit near the breakers and joists. Got it done perfectly and half day.

Easy process, reasonable wait time, professional install experience. The owner even came by a few days later to personally return an extension cord one of their guys accidentally put in their van. Our radon level went from 12.5 pre install to 0.5 post install.

Radon Abatement Systems was outstanding on every level. A long-time Realtor friend recommended them to us. Our first interaction was to email them a floor plan of the house and describe our basement. From the builder's drawings and my description, they were able to identify the correct abatement system, and email back an estimate that was VERY competitive, and schedule the installation. They patiently answered all my homeowner questions on the phone and were able to schedule the installation in short order. The actual install took less than a day and while they were on site, I asked them about replacing our sump pump. They had a new, cast iron profession pump on their truck and gave us an extremely competitive price on the part and installation. Radon measurement went from 11.1 pCi/L

Janryk and his partner did a fantastic job installing our radon system. We could not install the system in our sump pump, so we agreed on an alternative location when he came by to provide the estimate. On the day of the install we realized it was not possible to put it in the initial location and had to go to plan B. In the end, the second location turned out to be the better option. The install was quick and with little to no mess. In a matter of a day our radon numbers dropped from 2.0 - 5.0 to 0.4. To top it off, Janryk and his partner we very pleasant people.
