Ordered a $23,000 custom cable railing from Rail FX for a high-end deck remodel. Lead times were repeatedly pushed back, delaying the project four weeks before install. Once materials arrived, there were multiple manufacturing and fulfillment errors, including incorrect stair components, missing cable holes, and cables labeled 20’ that were actually 15’. Total project delay was seven weeks, costing significant time and labor. Unacceptable quality control for a premium product. Would not recommend.

Our company, Clark Builders, Inc., used RailFX cable railing for one of our clients new deck. Product was EASY to install and turned out BEAUTIFUL! Steve was SO NICE to work with, very responsive and helpful! Will DEFINITELY use this product in the future with our clients outdoor living projects.

I’m a business owner and a general contractor. I am the owner of Advanced Home Repairs. I ordered railing from other companies like Fortress and Trex. I decided to give Rail FX a try because they said there lead time was 2 to 5 days. They failed to deliver in their 2 to 5 day range. It’s more like 2 weeks range (12 business days from the day I put in the order). Then they delivered the materials without instructions. After getting in contact with rail FX representative I was emailed instructions but they where not the specific instructions for baluster railing. They were instructions for cable railing. They apparently don’t have instructions for baluster railing (that what they sold me). The pre-drilled holes in the posts were drilled in the wrong place. When I told that to the representat

Great product and customer service, they were more than happy to answer all of our questions and answer all of our calls right away. I will recommend there products to our clients in the future.
