Ramapo Valley Pool Services and Christmas Shoppe

Had an issue with the Christmas shop. But my review would’ve been 4 stars if me and my brother weren’t followed around by the employees for 15 minutes straight. Then not only after being followed, the cashier searched my bag before I rung up some more items. Strange to be accused of shoplifting for no reason. definitely not going back there again, very uncomfortable environment.

We have a complicated pool setup. Chris and his crew took the time to explain the situation and fix it efficently. I will definitely use them next time i need pool work.

Amazing! Amazing! I cannot believe I do not know this was here until this year, considering I grew up and still live in this area. I highly recommend this place for anyone who's looking for a unique gift or a fun little shopping excursion. Please take just your credit card or cash as it is a very tight squeeze around the beautiful store.

Bad experience with Ramapo Valley Pools in Oakland. They were supposed to come between 1:00 and 4:00 to close my pool. They showed up a little after 5:00 when daylight was dwindling. They didn’t ring my bell to let me know they were finally here. When my son told me that there were men in my pool, I went out and, for some reason, they had taken apart my brand new Polaris pool vacuum into 4 pieces. Why? I did not want it taken apart nor was there a reason to take it apart. I hired them to close my pool, not my vacuum. They told me my skimmers were cracked, which I didn’t see all summer; they used a huge hose to drain the pool, which doesn’t have to be drained.
