Paid in full nearly six months ago and they still have not built the retaining wall. I’ve been told “next week” several times but nothing done except a huge pile of rock dumped on my property four months ago in my parking spots. Do not pay this company anything in advance. I put in retaining wall because that is what I paid for. I’ve even requested a full refund several times but all I get is “it will get done”. He said it should get done next week a month ago.

Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever encountered with a contractor. Derrick comes across as a “Good Old Boy” when you first meet him. He really knows how to put on the charm. Our retaining wall project started out well enough, but it quickly deteriorated as poor workmanship required that sections of finished walls had to be torn down and rebuilt causing unnecessary delays. I had prepaid as agreed upon by the contract, but withheld a few progress payments until the work that I had already paid for was redone to my satisfaction. That didn’t set well with Derrick. As our communication continued to breakdown, he then deliberately pulled his crews off my job, stating “when you stopped making the required progress payments, I lost my motivation to continue working on your job”. My response

Built a fire pit patio and done an exceptional job. The service after the sale is amazing as well. Derrick and his crew do it right, and do what is asked. I would recommend these guys for any landscaping project!

We were truly amazed at what a superb job they did on our landscaping project. It was exactly what we wanted and they were so flexible when we changed a few things in the middle of the project. And we couldn't believe how they respected our lawn, etc as they were working. The cleanup was amazing!

R&D Lawn & Landscaping is OUTSTANDING. It recently constructed a challenging retaining wall for me on a virtual sheer cliff. The project was completed on time and on budget. The team was truly professional and went above and beyond by re-sodding parts of my lawn and repairing my irrigation system. I was impressed by the team's work ethic and thankful for its attention to detail and outstanding performance throughout the project.
