READ Electric

I hired Read Electric to install a 200A panel and run 4/0 cable from the meter stanchion. I had framed a new 2x4 wall, intending for the panel to be mounted between studs so that all conduit and components would be inside the wall, allowing for a clean finish later. Given the brand new framed wall and the ample working space (over 12 inches), I assumed it was obvious the wall would ultimately be finished and the electrical components needed to be flush. Unfortunately, no one consulted me on the layout. The result is a disappointing installation where two LBs (one protruding over an inch) and the 2.5-inch conduit pipe run outside the wall surface, with the panel cover now hitting the conduit where it enters the panel. Unfortunately ( or fortunately) I have not had to call on read electric for any personal issues or repairs that I've needed. That being said I have met and dealt with the owner of the company on a few occasions at my job. I rarely have good news for people being that we repair vehicles at my job. Usually I'm giving estimates for repairs people would rather not have to incur if they had the choice. (They're car breaking down) and telling them how long I will need the vehicle to complete the job. The owner is always a real gentleman, very kind and very courteous, and very understanding as well if something doesnt go as planned. Sorry if this review isnt necessarily about the business But I'm certain that with an owner as reasonable as he is, I'm sure the jobs and business are great as well

I think read electric is one of the best experiences I’ve had they are honest and prompt definitely 5 stars hats off to them nicest people I have dealt with 👍👍👍
