Randomly come to do national grid inspections, when I called to schedule another one they said they dont let you Schedule a set time they just tell you the day and call you 15 minutes before like your supposed to wait around for them all day. The guy calls me and as I tell him im literally 5 minutes away and was gonna give him the door code to go straight to the basement through a multi family shared hallway to see the meter, he says he doesnt want to go into a random apartment, its a public hallway and shared basement. Then he said he'd wait, five minutes later I pull up and he wants to leave, I told him too late im here and let him in the basement, he was angry and didn't even acknowledge me the whole time, be angry at your job that sends you out to addresses with no timed appointments.

Found a Reconn Utility Services technician inside my backyard in Allen Park, MI on August 22, 2025, with no prior notice, no knock, and no permission. He entered my property and started working without identifying himself or explaining his purpose. This is a serious safety and privacy issue. Homeowners deserve advance notice and clear communication before anyone enters their property. Please train your staff to identify themselves, obtain permission, and leave written notice if no one is home. Completely unacceptable.

Can’t speak to their work but their drivers are dangerous and they cover the how’s my driving contact phone number.

Make appointments to come for inspection and then do not show up. Wasted 4 hours waiting for someone to not show up. Disrespectful of someone's time.

I was due for my gas inspection and had a hard time getting a Coned rep on the phone. I called Reconn and the call center was not only friendly but absolutely helpful. I set up my appointment and a technician came out a week later. The technician found some corrosion on the pipe and my husband asked to speak to a manager since this was never an issue in the past. The supervisor in the Queens area drove up promptly and explained the entire process with a smile. She was great. Coned came out the same day to make the repairs and we passed the inspection. Excellent customer service.
