I contacted Red’s Electric for a quote to update my electrical panel with an interlock switch and generator inlet. They responded quickly and provided a clear, detailed estimate. Red’s walked me through the options and recommended adding whole‑house surge protection, which made a lot of sense while the other work was being done. The job was scheduled promptly, and the electrician, Nick, arrived on time and made sure we understood the location options and how to properly use the new system. I had Red's upgrade my electrical panel for a heat pump and reroute an old, out-of-code, dishwasher electrical line. The process was great from start to finish! All of the folks that I interacted with made sure I understood the different steps involved. They were very thorough in their approach and communication—including coordinating with PGE, adjusting around around tree trimming needs, sending a roofer to confirm that the shingles around the new mast had been properly sealed, and submitting/scheduling permits with the City of Portland. The electricians that completed the project were kind and efficient and solved all the weird issues that come up in an old house. The worksite was left fully clean after they finished. Red's pricing is very reasonable for the high quality of the work.

Red's moved an electrical panel and laid some grounded outlets as part of a garage remodel. There was some miscommunication between me, the estimator, and the electricians about how the outlets would look (i.e., they set more industrial ones suitable for a garage rather than cleaner looking ones for what will be an office). When I contacted Red's about this, they fixed it as soon as possible. Throughout the process, the staff was always friendly, helpful, and absolutely punctual.

Waited a while to review but after ten months I’ve never experienced any issues with their work and at the time of installation they were polite/professional. Had a panel upgrade from 100 to 200 amp that was priced much more competitively than three other companies.
