Unprofessional, unsafe, and required termination mid-project I hired Refined Finishes for a drywall and interior painting project in my basement. Unfortunately, the experience deteriorated quickly and ultimately required me to terminate the job before completion. From the beginning, communication was poor. No one on the crew spoke English, which made even basic coordination difficult. There was no clear on-site supervisor or point of contact, and questions or concerns were not addressed in real time. Refined finishes were very professional in providing fair pricing for my living room remodel. I had them do drywall for 4 walls, paint ceiling, and skim coat 1 wall. They were very patient with my initial start date. The workers completed the job efficiently and the Mgr came back to check the completed work. Great customer service.!

Refined Finishes is an excellent contractor. They are professional, timely, and reliable. I can’t say enough good things about this company and their team of workers. Gustavo was our job superintendent and he is top notch. We had them do drywall work, painting, popcorn ceiling removal and hardwood floors. Beautiful workmanship! I will continue to use Refined Finishes for all my work on my rentals as well as my personal home. I will also recommend them to everyone I know who needs work done.

Overall, Refined Finishes did a wonderful job removing the popcorn ceiling and replacing it with a knockdown. They promptly responded to my request for a quote and the price was very reasonable. Everyone was very personable. Communication was great. They answered any questions - sharing pictures of what the knockdown would look like. Job was two rooms (500 sq ft total) and they were done in only 3 days. Milton came back a few days later to touch up a few spots I noticed had a very small dimple of paint. We are very happy with how everything looks!

I had a major plumbing leak from the second floor bathroom. A good plumber fixed the problem, but then I was left with holes in the ceiling. I found Refined Finishes on the Better Business Bureau website, and they were great! Responded promptly, came when they said they would, reasonable estimate and then an excellent repair job! Great care for my property and great communication throughout the process. If I ever have a problem like this again, they will be my first call!
