RELIANCE DETECTION TECHNOLOGIES

I ordered the RS-070 detector for a washing machine and paid a $32 shipping charge to have it sent to Canada. There was no mention of additional import fees or duty on the website so I made the logical assumption that they were a part of the $32 shipping fee, which is about right for an item weighing around 3 lbs or less. I was contacted by UPS about 10 days later and told I had to pay an additional $134 in order to have the package released. The item received does not justify its $325 price tag or $166 shipping fee. The sensor pad is essentially a piece of cardboard and the 2 valves are massive, requiring us to add 90 degree elbows and install them at odd angles (and yes, our taps were the distance apart that the company specified). In June of 2018 I purchased the RSC-900-AW system with six sensors for my residence. The system is working well and to my satisfaction. I am very glad that I purchased this equipment and had it installed. I had an issue with system forgetting sensors just after it was installed, but this issue was quickly and efficiently resolved via Mark Strucaly at RDT. The problem was eventually traced to my failure to properly complete the registration process. My experience has led me to conclude that RDT is a strong company with a good product backed up by excellent people.

Credit and JaMarcus were very helpful and we're very knowledgeable and water damage and associated problems. They were swift and did clean demo of damaged wood and dry wall. Great team...I would recommend food masters to anyone because of those guys!... :)
